The first project that needed to happen on this house was securing the garage so I could start moving stuff out of my storage unit. The garage itself is a stable building, but the doors provided zero protection from anything!
Given the fact that I work in a Hardware store, I was quickly able to get some help in taking care of this mess. I'd like to be able to tackle a lot of the projects in this house myself, but I don't know the first things about garage doors. I've never had the luxury of being able to park in a garage. So I had someone come and install the new door.
Now I am will be able to park my car in this garage! Although for now it is merely a larger storage unit that holds all my belongings until I can get everything situated inside.
The final shot here was the night it was completed. I had to work late, but was so excited to see how it turned out. Stay tuned for more, it may or may not already be painted a different color. :)
